This evening Steven was in the pool when we got a nice calm downpour. Since there was no thunder and lightening he stayed out there. A few minutes after I took this picture, the rain stopped and Koty joined him in the pool.
That looks fun. Playing in the rain is so much if there is no pesky lightning. My kids were trying to have a big kickball game yesterday for the college and career kids and there was lightning everywhere! They finally gave up and headed home.
I love thunder storms in the dark when I'm going to sleep all curled up in my bed. And, I love summer rains when it is okay to put on a swimming suit and dance around in the driveway. (Not anymore, of course, but remember doing that when we were little?) I think swimming in the rain would be just as much fun as singing or swinging.
