When our pets died I had the kids either write something about them or draw a picture. I think it helped them sort their feelings out a bit. We had a bad six months in 1999-2000 where we lost Misty, Ande, Peach and then Gracie too. It was a hard time. It will be hard for you too but time does heal the wounds...
