An early Christmas present!!!

Tonight my honey gave me my Christmas present because he said he couldn't wait. I think I was one of the few people who still didn't have a cell phone, and I had talked to him about getting one for a while, but every time the subject would come up he would insist that I didn't need one. He has one only because he has to for his job and his employer pays for it. Anyway, there have been many many times where it would've come in handy... like when I hit the deer last August, and when I went to Vegas for my job in March (I had to borrow one of my coworker's phones or go into a smoke filled casino to use a pay phone so I could call my family.), etc....

Christmas is for things that you don't really "need".

Oh, giggle, giggle!! Sooo don't "Need" that. But for safety sake you really do. Now you can travel without fear of deers and bears, and mugglers, and, and , ah.. :0)

Yay for you!! We all got cells a few months ago. The kids begged and begged. Of course they also help pay the bill. :) It sure has come in handy - even if you don't *need* one.

Now you can join the "turn off your phones during church" club. Yea!

Why would you take your phone to church???

Congratulations! How fun. It sounds like it was a bit surprise, too.

Why would you leave your cell phone home? I thought the whole purpose was to be able to call anytime... except during church, of course.

Once Bethany's phone went off twice during the sermon. Shew hung it up and Dave thought they had been disconnected and called her back. It was pretty funny at the time.

"Shew"?

You take it to church because it is in your purse. Then when they put up the slide on the overhead that says "please turn cell phones off"...you pull it out and either turn it off or put it on vibrate.

You are a modern woman now, Rachel!

or if you have a phone like mine that you forget that you have it in your pocket and it is way loud and so then you just pray that nobody calls you....:)

Again, why take your phone to Church? You gona call someone from the pew? You are going to answer it from a pew? But then again I don't find it necessary to carry a purse either. :)

I always carry my phone in my purse and hardly ever take it out. And I always take my purse to church. I try to always remember to turn it off before I get there.

We just updated a cell phone. The other wasn't working any more... something about falling into a bucket of water and not getting dried out quickly enough! We added replacement coverage with this one. :)
