Stone Fireplaces and Friends

My honey is moving along on the stone fireplace. He is doing such a beautiful job!Last night we had some friends over to play Euchre. We've known these friends for more than 17 years, and get together once a month for dinner, games, and dessert. After so many years of being friends and getting together with our children, it would be strange to not be a part of each other's lives. My friend, Colleen, was not too cooperative about having her picture taken...or maybe she was sobbing because Dave and I had just won our 1st game of the night. ;)

just catching up here. You have been posting! I get to your blog via Martha's cause it keeps my blog looking less cluttered if I just put a few key folks up and then visit others via them. I don't know that sounded right but it's the truth. :D
It does look great! Shhhh, don't tell Dave I said anything nice.
I'm all confused, why are you playing cards at a coffee table?

gmj- Us young folks like to play cards at the coffee table because it's comfortable and cozier.:)

And I promise not to tell Dave you said anything nice.

So gmj, let me see if I understand you correctly. Rachel is not a "key person"? That's it! I was just thinking about taking you off the list for your nice comment. Now I'm taking you off my speed dial, too....and...and...and...I'm going to instruct Rachel to put you way way down the list of "key people" on her blog...and...and...and...my dog can beat up your dog...and...and...

Dave, I had to laugh when I saw the first picture of you on the top. You're looking at Rachel, "If you take one more picture of me for your stupid blog..." hehe :-) Seriously, you're doing great! I'm glad you're working on this project so you know how to do ours downstairs if we ever finish our basement!
