Steven doing his homework like a good boy.
This is what Michael looks like these days when he ventures outdoors. Dave has snowblown another "mountain" in our backyard. It was too dark for me to get a good picture of it, but boy are Dave and Mike having fun on it! Poor Steven has had quite a bit of homework lately, so he has been busy working on it, while they're outside playing.

No fun, huh, Steve?
I rather like staying inside but going out is good for me too. Maybe you need to send him out for 15 minutes anyway.
We try, but he refuses to do anything else until his homework is done.
That's commitment!
Yucky homework... But it must be done! Way to be determined Steve. It's good not to fall behind in your homework.
It may have been warm enough to play outside when you posted this but it's much too cold today! It's a good day for doing homework (or for blogging).
I spent the entire day working, and then went directly to a swim meet in Churchville. Steven and I got home at 7:20pm, ugh... I feel chilled to the bone tonight. I just can't seem to get warm. I just flipped the switch on our gas fireplace and I'm going to have a nice HOT cup of tea.
I can't imagine having kids who REFUSE to play until their homework is done. LOL. Please, tell me your secret!!!
That Dave is just one big kid!
She doesn't homeschool.
Shelly-He's pretty obsessive about getting it done just so that he doesn't have to think about it. It's nothing we've done.
beleive it or not my david is more or less that way too.
he is only 6 and when he has homework, he will do one page a day. the school promotes this by having what they call friday fun, meaning the kids that got their homework done get to play games and have fun, while the kids that didn't , do their homework there.
