Vegas Pictures
Here are a couple of pictures from my Las Vegas trip. The top picture is the staff in our office who went on the trip. My boss is standing next to me with the white purse. The other picture is me and another Hygienist in our office tensing (pronounced tenzing, meaning relaxing) our jaw muscles during part of the seminar. The seminar was on Neuromuscular Dentistry, which is how the bite (the way your teeth fit together) affects the whole rest of the body. If not right it can cause chronic migraines, neck pain, back pain, ear congestion, tingling in the fingertips, etc.... It was fascinating. This week I have begun to implement some of what I learned in our office. It's great to be able to help people that are in chronic pain.

It sounds like I need to visit your office to learn about my bite. I have had problems since I had my crown done last year. I wrote about it in my blog about a year ago.
But fortunately, I don't have pain from it...
I'll have to go back and read your blog, I don't remember it. I'm glad you're not in pain.
Very nice photos! Looks like a great time, too!
It took me a while to see the tensing thing, I thought you had ear phones on! I think my tingling in the fingers is from blogging! LOL. I found the neuromuscular components of nursing the most interesting. I'm glad you brought something of use back from 'Vegas.
My bite is way off side to side. I smashed my jaw on the bottom of a swimming pool when I was about 12 and I think that's why. Can you help me?
