Today the temperature reached 95 degrees here. My poor kids were dying at school where there is 3 floors and no air conditioning. Michael said that in one of his classes on the 3rd floor, they were handing out ice cold water to all the kids. As soon as they came in the door, they ran upstairs to get their swimsuits on. They couldn't get in that pool fast enough! Me? I worked in air condition all day.

How well I remember being in that exact same school. I think it's neat that they go to the same school we did. Does anyone have Mr. G this year?
We went swimming after school too.
We are having fall weather, 70's in temp and partly cloudy mornings. Occasional 80's and sunny. Pools have been dismantled and stored. I'm getting ready to retire the squirt guns. Heard you are going to get thunder storms soon?
Gmj- Today we're supposed to have a chance of thunderstorms, but I don't see any sign of them yet. It about 80 and sunny right now.
Priscilla- Neither of the boys have Mr. G this year. He teaches 7th grade science in white house only and Michael's in blue house.
Well, it cooled off.... Supposed to be cool this week. *sigh*
White house and blue house?? What does that mean?
Heather- They split the school up into three sections...red, white, and blue. Teachers only teach in a specific section.
Everyone is writing about food lately. I'm really hungry...
