One of the neighbors here has a couple of kayaks that he said we could borrow if we wanted, so Dave and his sister, Liesl, went kayaking this morning. They got into the canal right behind our place and off they went into the Bay (or whatever it's called). It was a beautiful day and I think they had a nice time. Later we all went to the beach. Tomorrow we will start for home...I'm ready. It was a nice, relaxing vacation, but I love my home in NY. Besides, Koty needs us and our fish are very hungry!

Kayaking
One of the neighbors here has a couple of kayaks that he said we could borrow if we wanted, so Dave and his sister, Liesl, went kayaking this morning. Oh, sounds like someone is Homesick! I'm glad you have had a good time. Does Dave's family live there?
I looked again, and my it looks choppy on the bay and windy by the looks of the tree on the left, they must be strong paddlers!
It does sound like you guys have had a wonderful vacation. It is always nice to get back home, though. Have a safe trip home!
Gmj, Dave's family lives here with the exception of his brother who lives in Pennsylvania. His parents go down to Florida each winter and invite their kids down to visit. Sounds like a great deal to me!
gmj- Dave said it was windy kayaking. I drove down the street right after I took this picture, and the water on one side of the bay was VERY choppy, while the other side was very calm and smooth.
