My husband got braces as an adult (late 20's, early 30's). It totally changed his appearance. He is happy that he did it. I'd post the before and after photo but I don't know if he'd speak to me again. How long does Mikey have to wear them? It will be worth it and corn on the cob will taste so good once you can eat it again.
Craig wasn't embarrassed about wearing braces but he doesn't like to look at picture of himself before he had them. Like our wedding photos for instance...
I never had braces and wanted them because i thought they were "cool". I don't think I realized at the time that they are painful when they get tightened.

Kim- He shouldn't be embarrassed, I think it's awesome what braces can do! Michael has to wear them for about a year and a half.
Jim- The orthodontist is happy to be able to manipulate Michael's teeth into place as they're coming in.

I loved what braces did for me!!!!!! I'll always be thankful for them!
I love what they did for my daughter who always tried so hard not to let her teeth show when she smiled. Now I love seeing her smile!
