Tired biker
Today Dave's sister came over after church and the 5 of us went out for a bike ride. No matter what, I just couldn't seem to keep up. I pedaled SO hard, but it made no difference. Finally Dave stopped and wondered what was up (frustrated). I told him I was tired and just needed to go home, so the 4 of them biked and I started for home. (I went a total of about 5 miles or so) All the way home I kept thinking, "This makes no sense. I'm always faster than the boys., what is wrong with me?" When I got off my bike to push it into the garage, it was even hard to push....that's because the front brakes were stuck on. UGH!

Sometimes I want to confess some of the silly things I have done, but over the net is not good! Too embaressing!
This wasn't because of anything I had done. Dave had done something to the front wheel and one of the brake springs fell off without him noticing. I told him that he sabotaged my bike and tried to kill me. Lol! I have done some pretty silly things in my lifetime though. I guess it was pretty silly of me not to get off my bike and check it out, but for some reason I just kept thinking it was me.
I bet you got a much better workout than any of the others. Poor thing!
It could have happened to any of us. Glad you turned back when you did.
Boy, five miles sounds good to me, even without the brakes stuck on! (I never go biking...)
What a great workout. You can make an exercise video with your own new exercise program. :o)
