Blonde and very confused.
I hate this strong wind!! We had it here, too. Thankfully, no damage,at least not what I can see.
W I N D ! ! ! You never know what it will do. I was going to reference back to when the wind blew down our old barn, but it was the year before I started blogging!
Joanne said it was bad out towards you guys. Can you imagine being the folks from the home in your first picture? Two cars at once! Yuck!
A tree went down righ across from Shelly's house. She said she heard it break. Luckily it fell into the street and not on any houses. Our trees are still standing but there are lots of snowman arms laying around the yard.
ok...I'm a little thick. I had to think a minute what "snowman arms" were. HaHa!The wind woke me up at around 5:30. It sounded fierce. It didn't do any real damage...but there were a few misplaced items around the neighborhood. I remember snuggling under my warm blankets feeling at peace knowing that my garbage cans were securely bungeed to the porch railing. (I learned already from past winds that it is no fun to score the neighborhood for your missing cans)
Priscilla- I woke up around 5:00am to the fierce winds and couldn't get back to sleep because I had grilled chicken the night before and hadn't put the grill cover back on. I wasn't about to go outside just then because not only was the wind fierce, but it was also pouring. I found our grill cover next to our deck at around 7:00am. You were smart to bungee your cans to your deck railing!
Martha-LOL Maybe I could sell all our "snowman arms" on eBay!
Wow. That is weird weather. And no snow! Our weather hasn't been that strange, but my friends in Wisconsin have extreme weather changes this winter too.
