Steven's Falcon

Steven, my almost 14 year old, drew this falcon about a month or so ago. He looked at a picture of it while he drew it. I think he did a great job!

Wow!!! so the Teal art talent skipped you and went to Steven? Great job young sir!

Ps; Em is fine. No damage to teeth.

Mmmm... Steven is not a Teal, but the talent still came from somewhere.

Rachel, this is really good. Proportion and tone are really hard for a beginner to get right and -- without seeing the original -- I think he nailed it. His penchant for getting everything "just right" will serve him well as an artist. Please encourage him to do more.

Thanks Jim, I will!

Very impressive. He has a wonderful gift and is very talentled. Are there any artists on Dave's side of the family? I'm thinking he must have gotten a double dose somewhere.

It is true that there is so much artistic talent in the family!! That is beautiful.

Dave's Uncle Mike has painted some pictures...I can't remember what they were like. Liesl has also painted some.

Oh my goodness... Steven, you amaze me with your ability to capture such depth and realistic qualities! I think it's beautiful. Could you draw one for me?

oh yah! God knows what He is doing doesn't he!
what we see as hard to deal with in the "just right" all the time moments God uses for wonderful talent!
way to go Steven don't ever stop.
